The Spanish Green Growth Group has published 34 examples of green economy, a compendium of successful business cases aligned with a sustainable development model that contributes to competitiveness, job and value creation for companies and society as a whole.
The document collects various examples of the 34 GECV members that represent a determined commitment to advance towards sustainability, decarbonization, the integration of nature into decision-making, the promotion of collaboration, innovation and the circular economy.
The document includes a series of recommendations that can help draw the public policy framework that underpins the great potential of the green economy in Spain as a growth model aligned with the creation of sustainable employment, the climate objectives of the Paris Agreement, the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda and the new global framework on biodiversity that the Convention on Biological Diversity plans to present in 2021 in Kunming (China).
Ecoacsa contributes to the publication with the Natural Capital Factory, the Spanish regional platform of the Natural Capital Coalition. A forum for the exchange of knowledge, dialogue and analysis on natural capital approaches, which brings together the Spanish community committed to the integration of nature into decision-making processes and which represents it before the global community of natural capital.
