It is the Spanish platform of the Capitals Coalition, whose objective is to ensure the consideration of nature in decision-making. Through it, we provide information on new innovative ways to develop sustainable businesses and promote sectoral and thematic working groups – Energy, Forestry, SBN, and Financial Risks – as well as offering news and information, technical training activities, and representation of the Spanish business ecosystem before the global natural capital movement.
Additionally, we are part of the European regional platforms on business and biodiversity of the European Union Business & Biodiversity platform (EU B & B).
It is a international conference aimed at raising awareness of the concept of natural capital, the opportunities it offers for integration, and the trends and developments in the market in this area.
Following the first and second editions held in Madrid (2016) and Barcelona (2018), the third edition of the Natural Capital Summit took place in November 2019 alongside the annual conference of the EU B&B platform, through the organization of the international conference "European Business and Nature Summit.".
